Also available is the Pass Plus scheme this is designed for newly qualified drivers by the DSA, but drivers of all ages are welcome.
You will need at least 6 hours of tuition this will help for you to gain experience of the varied conditions that you may encounter either on the road or motorway.
The main aim is to provide and develop the right attitudes and the necessary driving skills that the new driver may require for safe driving in the future.
If and when you complete your Pass Plus, you may be offered reduced insurance premiums by certain insurance companies. (Ask your insurance company for more details).
The Pass Plus scheme covers:
 Town driving |
| All weather driving |
| Night driving |
| Out of town including rural roads |
| Dual carriage ways driving (joining and leaving junctions) |
| Motorway driving (driving at much higher speeds, changing lanes, and joining and leaving exit junctions). |
